Yoshimi and Erik contacted us in September 2011, and we met the fun couple at Starbucks where they filled us in on their plans for an intimate summer wedding. For their engagement session, they knew exactly what they wanted: cherry blossoms and the deck chairs at Kitty Islet!


What a beautiful, warm day we had. We hit up Beacon Hill Park for some lovely shots amidst the blossoms as well as daffodils. We had a lot of laughs throughout the session, as we shook branches to attempt to get a rainfall of blossoms. Didn’t work quite so well, but we loved that they were game for all of our ideas. Their easy-going, happy personalities made for a fantastic afternoon of shooting. We ended our time at Kitty Islet off Beach Drive where they sat to watch the calm ocean water and recount details of their big day.


Yoshimi and Erik’s wedding will be at the cozy Fairholme Manor in July in Victoria, B.C. We are so excited to capture all of the love and memories for them on their day.
